| Since 1978, Subtidal Adventures has been the leader in adventure, whale and scenic tours in Barkley Sound. Most of our summer trips go to the Broken Group Islands, which is part of Pacific Rim National Park. The wildlife we commonly see includes Gray and sometimes Humpback or Orca whales, Sea Lions, Seals, Sea Otter, numerous Sea Birds and Eagles. Cruising at a relaxed pace, our cosy 12 metre “DIXIE IV” is a converted Coast Guard rescue boat with warm and comfortable indoor seating or open deck viewing.
